Music is
something wondrous, and infinite, and it has been my great pleasure to be
involved in an industry that can at its finest moments see the birth of
something that allows us if even for a short time to feel more deeply than
our everyday world usually allows us, and to touch the elusive intangibles
of what we sometimes call the soul.
When working with artists, it is my goal to bring these moments out by
endeavoring to find out who the artist is, where they come from, and what
their strengths, desires and passions are. My role as a producer is to
bring out more of who the artist is, and to bring to life the spirit of
the songs that they bring with them.
I am passionate about making a project work for the artist. As a good
friend of mine once said, "These songs are meant to be sung." I firmly
believe that talent needs to be released. It's a very cool thing seeing
that happen on a record.
Thank-you to all the many artists and musicians I've worked with over the
years, and I look forward with great anticipation to working with the many
artists and musicians whose paths I have not crossed yet.
